In this brand new body of work, local artist Andrea Merican explored her experience and emotions in abstract paintings. Using watercolor as well as oil and cold wax, Merican created pieces which resonated with viewers.
“Many Muses” Retrospective Show June 16 to July 21
The Walter Art Gallery is pleased to present a look back at some of the artists we have featured in the last few years. The show, “Many Muses” includes art from Sharon Geels, Barb Goldberg, Cyndi Hardy, Jason Hugger, Gloria Langer, Amber Linkey, Chris Newberg, Danny Neumann, Dan Oldejans, Dan Pederson, Alan Sweeney, Patricia Turpin, and Charmagne Vasquez. Most of the artwork displayed has been graciously loaned to the gallery by our collectors, with a few additional pieces from the artists. Be sure to come see all this wonderful work during our regular summer gallery hours: Tuesday 11-1pm and Thursday 12-2pm. We look forward to seeing you at WAG!
